May 5--Tighter supply constraints in Bangkok's central business district will result in improved investment prospects in retail and commercial properties, according to Sumat Chantrasuriyarat, an analyst at Bualuang Securities.
While the residential housing market has already recovered beyond pre-crisis levels, the commercial market has been relatively slower to pick up.
But Mr Sumat said with occupancy rates in Bangkok nearing 70-80 percent, developers and project owners now had greater leeway to raise prices.
