May 4--BoA Asset Management, the mutual fund management arm of Bank of Asia, is launching three new mutual funds to attract more investors with different requirements and risk tolerance.
The highlight is Smart Active SET100 (SAS-100), an open-ended fund designed to invest in stocks forming the new SET100 index, while the other two are short-term debt funds, MF Fund 9 (MF9) and Capital Protection Plus (CPP), which are expected to generate returns of between 2.3 percent and 3 percent to investors who can take only low risks.
