May 3--A maker of bullet-resistant products announced plans Monday to open a plant in Caldwell County.
Officials with ForceOne said the company will operate in the former Industrial Seaming Co. plant at 2500 Baker Circle in Sawmills, about 70 miles northwest of Charlotte.
ForceOne supplies products to military and law enforcement agencies, fire departments and emergency medical units.
