May 2--The pilot phase of online web services for small- and medium-sized tourism-related operators is now being promoted in Chiang Mai.

The Software Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA) is offering collaborative commerce application services that use technology to link the business processes of different types of tourism organisations.

SIPA president Manoo Ordeedolchest said the c-commerce web services would allow operators to manage and operate their businesses more efficiency and competitively, thanks to advance information and communication technologies.
