May 2--Thailand remains an attractive investment destination despite concerns over risk factors such as the southern violence and bird flu, according to David Belmont, managing director for risk management of Singapore-based Temasek Holdings.
He said Thailand was more interesting when compared with China and India, with strong fundamentals and little risk of an imminent economic slowdown.
"We see that Thai economic figures remain high, although the problems in the South are getting worse day by day."
