May 2--Bang & Olufsen, a high-end hi-fi and electronics specialist, plans to move slightly downmarket as part of its aim to tap a larger share of the home-entertainment market and penetrate the robust Asian market.
B&O, as it is called, said it planned to introduce lower-range products globally later this year and expected Asia to be a potentially larger market contributing to the overall growth of the company.
"The next driving force will be unique B&O quality products that would be at a lower price point," Torben Sorensen, chief executive officer of B&O told the Bangkok Post.
