May 2--Prices of electrical appliances are expected to be increased by at least 5 percent within the next two months to cover higher raw material and fuel costs, according to Suraporn Simakulthorn, chairman of the Electrical, Electronics and Allied Industries Club of the Federation of Thai Industries.
Additional price increases were likely before year-end if the cost of raw materials and fuel continued to increase, he added.
