BRADENTON -- Jenni Campos was in pain.
After pulling a muscle in her pitching arm sliding into second base Wednesday, there was a question about whether the Bayshore pitcher could take the field Friday.
But when game time came, the junior decided to pitch, and pitch well. She led the Bruins to a 8-1 victory over top-seeded Palmetto to win the Class 4A-District 13 championship for the second consecutive season.
