Median salaries for campus administrators increased 3.3% over last year but women lost a little ground, according to data from the 2004-2005 academic year. The median increase is more than last year's rate of 2.5% but less than the 3.5% increase reported for 2002-2003, most likely the result of a recovering economy.
The annual CUPA-HR (College and University Professional Association for Human Resources) measured median salaries for 175 job titles at 1,387 higher education institutions, including doctoral, comprehensive, baccalaureate and two-year schools.
