Told she was just a "pretty girl" and "a joke" at the main Harvard library and would never get promoted, Desiree Goodwin is suing for discrimination.
Goodwin, who got a master's degree in library science at Simmons College in 1999, has been an assistant librarian at Harvard for nine years, after working at the library at Boston College for seven years.
