Although a new study indicates women made progress as faculty member in Canada from 1990 to 2003, like in the U.S. they still have not achieved equality on campus.

The number of female full-time professors rose more than 50% from 1990 to 2003, while their male colleagues dropped by 14%. But women still only make up 30% of universities' full-time faculty and their pay is still behind that of men.
