Apr. 28--WICHITA, Kan. -- Gayla Crouse announced Wednesday that her last day at KEYN, 103.7- FM, will be May 6. Crouse starts as the Wichita Area Chamber of Commerce's new director of customer development May 9.

"So I'll have a whole weekend to rest up," she jokes.

Entercom trimmed staff and cut Crouse's hours and salary in March. She was told she could keep doing the morning show with John "Boy" Speer.

"I felt so insulted," Crouse says.

She says ratings are great.

"I think management will one day look back . . . and regret letting me go."
