Over the last three years, the bookshelves have been crammed with more than a dozen major books about all things Kennedy. That influx, much of it tied to the 40th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination and the opening of previously unavailable documents, added to a welter of historiography that probably started within minutes of the rifle shots in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.
