Google up on ratings upgrade
The Internet search engine's shares rose 2% to 188.57 after Lehman Bros. upgraded its rating from equal weight to overweight. Analyst Douglas Anmuth said Google boosted its share of U.S. search revenue without requiring an increase in query volume and is upbeat about its European and Japanese sales. He sees Google's revenue growth beating Yahoo's.

Napster ups Q4 revenue outlook
The online music service raised its sales forecast from $15 mil to $16.5 mil-$17.5 mil, against views of $14.6 mil. This is the 2nd time it's boosted its forecast in 5 weeks. Napster credited its "Napster to Go" campaign with boosting subscriber growth by 143,000, to 410,000. Analysts said Napster had been conservative with prior guidance. Shares rose 9% to 6.74.
