Bush touts Ukraine partnership

The White House rolled out the red carpet to welcome newly elected Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko. President Bush said he would one day like to see the ex-Soviet state join NATO and the World Trade Organization, but said it's "not a given." Bush avoided criticizing Yushchenko for ordering his 1,600 troops to leave Iraq, but did reassert his view that helping rebuild Iraq was a worthy cause.
