Ever tried to buy a cool sneaker? Chances are that you will be foiled, as I have, by the remoteness of the store (really cool sneakers are ordinarily found in places where no really cool people actually live); by the pandemonium that results from 100-plus teenagers-teenage boys-shopping and shoving; and by the sudden realization that you have only a vague idea of what the really cool sneaker is and that no one in the shop is going to enlighten you.
