Apr. 4--Major shareholders of SET-listed Khon Kaen Sugar Industry have jumped into the property bandwagon, launching Boathouse Hua Hin, a luxury resort and condominium project worth four billion baht.
"We are not property developers so we had to search for property professionals," said Somchat Chinthammit, a director of Boathouse Hua Hin Co Ltd, who owns food product firms including Thai Fermentation Industry, a manufacturer of seasoning products under the Red Spoon brand, Thai Flour Industry and Bangkok Inter Food.
