The Chicago-based Institute of Health and Human Performance announces its new Injury Prevention Program for Musicians.
Co-founded by Jon Kabance, Injury Prevention Program for Musicians incorporates his expertise in physiology and kinesiology with the research and experience of Janet Horvath, a renowned cellist and award-winning expert in the performing arts medical field.
The program comprises two exercise tools, a comprehensive educational DVD and a book, Playing (less) Hurt--An Injury Prevention Guide for Musicians. Kabance and Horvath appear on the DVD that accompanies the two exercise tools--the Musician's WOW and The Reset Glove.
