Apr. 2--The cooling powder market is poised to turn hot as competition among producers intensifies to cash in on higher demand during the summer season.

The British Dispensary (LP) Co, a distributor and manufacturer of herbal and other natural health-care products, hopes to regain the market lead it lost five years ago to the US consumer products giant Colgate-Palmolive.

Somchai Nithsatienchai, the vice-president for marketing and business development at British Dispensary, said it expected to regain its top ranking by June.
