Apr. 2--Chonburi Concrete Product Plc (CCP) expects to share in an estimated six billion baht in concrete product sales for government infrastructure projects this year.
According to Chakrit Theepakornsukkasem, CCP's chief operating officer, the government has budgeted around 200 billion baht a year for megaprojects until 2010, of which 15 percent would be spent on concrete products.
To meet the expected soaring demand for construction materials in the next five years from the megaprojects, highway upgrades and private sector expansion, CCP has invested 100 million baht to build five ready-mixed concrete (RMC) factories. ...
