Apr. 2--Companies investing in new energy-saving equipment and technology will be able to claim special tax writeoffs under a new incentive scheme drafted by the Finance Ministry.
Finance Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said the cabinet would consider the incentives in two weeks, together with other measures from the Energy Ministry aimed at encouraging conservation.
Most of the incentives will be aimed at corporate users.
