Soul has been awarded the creative assignment on the pounds 1 million Oxy skincare range as the precursor to a profile-raising initiative on the brand by its new owner.
The move ends a six-year tenure of the business by Ogilvy & Mather. Euro RSCG London and Leith London also contested the business.
The review was called after Oxy's sale by GlaxoSmithKline to the Mentholatum Company. Mentholatum, whose range of non-prescription health products includes Deep Heat rub, has pledged to introduce additions to the Oxy range and to continue heavy promotion to Oxy's teenage target market.
