Tony Wheble in line for Emap sales job.(Emap Advertising)(Brief Article)
Tony Wheble, the former commercial director at Flextech TV, has been offered the managing director's job at Emap Advertising.
Wheble was one of a long-list of names from agencies and media owners to go for the job, replacing Dave King, who left to join the Telegraph Group as its executive director in December. Wheble is currently the UK managing director of the barter outfit Active International.
It is not known if Wheble has accepted the job - he was away on holiday and Emap refused to comment.
