Apr. 1--Central Watson Co, the operator of the Watsons health and beauty store chain, has doubled its investment budget this year to 450 million baht with the aim of achieving 50 percent growth in sales.
About 300 million baht is to be spent on opening 50 new stores and renovating existing ones. Another 150 million baht will go for advertising and a promotional campaign to build brand awareness, said Alan Nementzik, managing director of Central Watson Co, a partnership between Central Retail Corporation and Hong Kong-based A.S.
