PHOENIX _ The A's packed their belongings, loaded up the equipment truck and headed to the Bay Area to continue their exhibition season.

The charter plane carried a little extra weight, the burden of a few unanswered questions and an extra player or two.

After five weeks and change since camp opened, the A's still don't know the identity of their fifth starter, won't reveal the name of their starting second baseman, or how many they'll carry to start the season.

Here's a look back at the team's five biggest questions before spring training began and an update on what's transpired.

1. Exactly what will the rotation look like, post-Three Aces?

With Tim Hudson and Mark Mulder in the National League, the A's have established their first four starters: Barry Zito, Rich Harden, Dan Haren and Joe Blanton.
