Those records included his ex-wife's allegation that he had asked her to have sex with him in public in a club where such behavior was not out of the ordinary. Ryan has been arguing in the alternative, as they say: It never happened, and even if it did it would not have violated the law or the Ten Commandments. The Tribune, and the judge, say that the file had to be opened so that people would not think that the court was showing favoritism; most divorce records are open.
