In Denver, they're calling the young small forward the "new and improved" Carmelo Anthony. They're seeing passing and defense. They're seeing small, quick lineups adept at creating easy baskets (actual lineup used last week: Earl Boykins, Greg Buckner, Wesley Person, Bryon Russell and Eduardo Najera, and that's an average height of under 6-4). They're even seeing early 1980s run-and-gun coach Doug Moe--foul mouth, open collar and all.
