Britain's BAE SYSTEMS North America recently said it received a contract to perform information technology (IT) services for the Navy's Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC) in Monterey, Calif.
"With our close relationships and extensive experience with the U.S. Navy, we understand fully the significance of FNMOC's vital mission and are confident in our ability to meet this latest challenge," Dave Belz, vice president for Navy operations at BAE, said in a statement.
The award is one of five large-business prime contracts to perform IT engineering, scientific, technical, and analytical services for FNMOC. The multiple-award vehicle, led by GSA Federal Technology Services ...
