Transcript: Larry King Live 2004 Presidential Debate October 23, 2004
LARRY KING: "We're back from the break with President George Bush and Senator John Kerry. Fellas, we've had some pretty good back-and-forth here, some interesting stuff, but I'd like to switch gears, if I may. Senator, you've said before that you enjoy poetry and actually write poetry ..."
SENATOR KERRY: "That's right, Larry. I work in both metered rhyme and free verse."
LARRY KING: "Would you favor us, Senator, with a couple of lines?"
SENATOR KERRY: "I'd be happy to."
PRESIDENT BUSH: "What the hell?"
LARRY KING: "Sir, you'll get a chance to discuss your poetry in a moment. Senator?"
