Environmental Sustainability Index.(Policy and Economics)

Yale University (New Haven, Connecticut, USA) has just released the 2005 Environmental Sustainability Index (ESI) results, in collaboration with the Center for International Earth Science Information Network at Columbia University (New York, New York, USA) and the World Economic Forum. The ESI is part of the Environmental Performance Measurement project (EPM), which was started by the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and is aimed at creating a more data-driven approach to environmental policy making.
