One of the five investor "dragons" from hit TV series Dragons' Den has set up a research company called Library House to track entrepreneurial businesses and specialist markets.
BBC2's Dragons' Den pitted budding British entrepreneurs against five successful players, each with [pounds sterling]150,000 to invest. Many contestants had their ideas (and sometimes personalities) torn to shreds, while few won over the investors.
So why does a Californian entrepreneur call his company Library House? "I have a personal affection for that word and I use it in the sense of research," Richards told IWR. "My mother was a research librarian and head of the law library at the University of Texas."
