Charleston County School District officials have presented more than $26 million in extras meant to boost student achievement. They include:

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS:

"Choice point" for each school****$3.1 million

At least 50 minutes/week each of P.E., music, art and computer ****$2.5 million

**** for each student

Assistant principal in each school

with 300 or more students****$2.2 million

Full-time counselor in every school****$1 million

Full-time nurse in every school****$840,447

Add 10 early childhood education classes****$737,620
