Medical tourism is a fast-growing business in Southeast Asia, where expert lower-cost surgery can be combined with an exotic vacation. With the competition intensifying, each country is playing its own trump card. Thailand is now well established as the in place for cosmetic surgery, while Malaysia claims to cater to Muslim patients and Singapore touts its mastery of the latest technologies.
