Mar. 4--Glow Energy Plc, the energy and utility company representing Belgian-based Suez (Tractebel EGI), will float its shares on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in the second quarter of this year to raise capital for financing its power and utility capacity expansion plans.

The company submitted a filing of its initial public offering to the Securities and Exchange Commission last month regarding the proposed sale of 80 million new shares and 1.3 billion existing shares at a par value of 10 baht per share. The IPO price has yet to be finalised.
