One million numbers freed up to assist TA Orange.

Mar. 4--TOT Corporation yesterday agreed to allocate one million telephone numbers to TA Orange to alleviate its numbering shortage.
Of the new numbers to be allocated to the country's third largest mobile operator, 300,000 will begin with 049, and the rest with 059.
Sethaporn Kusripituk, a director of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), lauded TOT's decision, saying he was delighted that operators were co-operating to resolve a problem facing the industry.
He said the current number shortage was affecting the mobile phone sector with just three million numbers still available from a total 61 ...
