Said to run Nurburgring
BMW Motorsport will contest one more Nurburgring 24- hour race with its two 500-hp V8 M3 GTR race cars, which finished 1-2 in last year's event. The drivers on the daunting, 15.7-mile course that combines the old Nordschleife with the modern Grand Prix circuit on May 7-8 include American Boris Said, Germans Dirk Muller, Jorg Muller and Hans-Joachim Stuck, as well as Dutchman Duncan Huisman. Pedro Lamy and Andy Priaulx will also drive.

Sir Frank Williams let slip that BMW Motorsport has agreed to supply customer Formula One engines to Sauber, starting in 2006 at the end of the Swiss team's deal with Ferrari. Williams noted, "I have no problem with it. Our deal carries on. We're still the works team.''
