Mar. 3--Two young entrepreneurs are planning to develop a 34-rai retail centre on Koh Samui worth 500 million baht.
Sayam Poopoksakul, 31, a director of Function Homes Co Ltd, said there were about 400 hotels and resorts on the island with an occupancy rate of almost 100 percent during the tourist high season, which lasts almost eight months a year.
