New video service to cut compensation wait.

Mar. 2--Thai Setakij Insurance Plc has initiated a video claim service which enables customers to directly file accident claims to its managing director in order to shorten the compensation period by 24 hours from 5-7 days.
"We could say that the V-Claim service is the first-ever initiative in Asia, not only Thailand," said Capt Vitoon Visutipol, the company's managing director. "The V-Claim services would eliminate existing procedures which require a lot of paperwork and are complicated."
In the new service, customers do not have to write or sign any documents. All they need to do is describe the accident in a video ...
