Mar. 2--Central Plaza Hotel reported 2004 net profits of 541.1 million baht, a 93.8 percent increase from the previous year, on revenue of 5.49 billion baht, up 21.8 percent.
Fourth-quarter net profit was 141.8 million baht, up 21.5 percent year-on-year, on revenue of 1.5 billion baht, up 18.3 percent.
Ronnachit Mahattanapruet, a senior vice-president of Central Plaza Hotel, said revenues of the company's hotel business in 2004 rose 25 percent from the previous year, with net profits of 358.4 million, up 75.4 percent.
