Mar. 2--In an attempt to introduce Thai coffee beans to consumers in the United States, Boncafe' (Thailand) Ltd is preparing to send the country's best coffee-making experts to the 2005 World Barista Championships (WBC) in Seattle in April.

A leading coffee wholesaler and coffee machine distributor, Boncafe' is sponsoring the Thailand National Barista Championship 2005 in the runup to the world event.

Maleerat Thanaprachoom, the company's general manager, said the United States was Boncafe"s next focus after penetrating the coffee market in the Middle East last year through a joint venture in Dubai.
