Mar. 2--Shares of AgriPure Holdings were allowed to resume trading yesterday following the announcement on Monday of a takeover by investor Bhumipat Dhnavarapitak.

The shares, suspended from trade since Feb 21, closed yesterday on the Stock Exchange of Thailand at 8.60 baht, up 1.40 baht or 19.4 percent, in trade worth 280.17 million baht. The company's warrants rose 65 satang to 7.25 baht, in trade worth 27.52 million baht.

APURE shares had more than tripled in value from 1.87 baht between Feb 7 and Feb 21, reaching a peak of 7.60, on speculation that a takeover deal was imminent.
