Feb. 27--HYUNDAI PLANT PUTS CITY ON 'THAT WORLD STAGE': Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama was the subject of discussion last week during the American Council of Engineering Companies of Alabama's presentation of 2005 Engineering Excellence Awards at the Alabama Activity Center downtown.

Ellen McNair, vice president of corporate development for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, delivered a keynote address during the event describing Hyundai's impact on the Montgomery community and on the state.
