Mar. 1--Bhumipat Dhnavarapitak, a Thai investor who owns 79 percent of Alliance Tuna International, the second largest canned tuna exporter of the Philippines, is set to acquire a 50.71 percent stake in SET-listed AgriPure Holdings for 191.19 million baht.
Mr Bhumipat will purchase the shares from the Navis Group. AgriPure (APURE) owns River Kwai International, Thailand's largest canned sweet corn exporter.
Mr Bhumipat and the Navis Group announced the deal yesterday, which involves 136.56 million AgriPure shares at 1.40 baht each.
