Mar. 1--Shares of Thainox Stainless Plc remained suspended on the Stock Exchange of Thailand yesterday despite last Friday's clarification of its proposed 14-billion-baht investment plan.

Market officials said the suspension would be in place pending Thainox's submission of its 2004 financial statements.

Suthichai Chitvanich, a SET executive vice-president, said Thainox's clarification represented a "certain level of clarity".

"But we'd rather not resume trading of TNX shares in the meantime because it's best to wait after the company submits its 2004 financial statements, just to make sure that investors will ...
