Egat claims staff prefer all-at-once approach to listing.

Mar. 1--The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (Egat) has chosen listing the entire state enterprise on the Stock Exchange of Thailand as the best option for privatisation, according to governor Kraisi Kanasuta.
The model, mirroring the privatisation structure of energy giant PTT Plc, is one of 18 options being weighed with regard to Egat's future. Other models include listing some of Egat's power plants on the SET, listing only Egat's transmission network, or seeking new strategic partners but remaining outside of the SET.
