Mar. 1--An uproar over Thai Airways International's move to outsource new cabin crew hiring flared again yesterday, with the national carrier's labour union threatening court action unless the deal is scrapped.
Union members said they would ask the airline's chairman to cancel the agreement with contractor Siam Rajathanee Co, which it claimed would cost THAI nearly 90 million baht.
Somsak Srinuan, the acting president of the union, said members tomorrow would submit an ultimatum to management to revoke the still unsigned agreement, or they would bring the matter to court.
