Jagged judgments

Concerning your Jan. 31 cover story, the 2007 Jaguar XK8 concept's grille makes the car look like an XKE with a double chin. And what's with the kiddie-car wheels and the Range Rover vents? This is not a Jaguar. It's a Ford and not a very good one.

The new XK8 concept has the potential to honor the legacy of Sir William Lyons. However, please tell Jaguar to leave the wheels in Detroit, where Escalade owners can use them. If it sticks to the program, Jaguar may have a keeper.
