The 2005 Daytona 24 Hour would have been disappointing if it was anything but a classic motor race. It is doubtful there has ever been an event with more star names on the entry list than this year's Daytona. A cast of NASCAR superstars, Indy 500 champions, Champ Car title winners, superannuated Formula One drivers and sports car legends duly delivered, putting on a thrilling show.
