Would you like some Gwen Stefani with your Venti caffe latte?

That might be the sort of question facing Starbucks customers soon. The Seattle-based coffeehouse chain wants to be your corner music shop, in addition to the place you get your java fix.

Starbucks is getting ready for the second phase of an initiative to incorporate music retailing into its coffee shops. Starbucks is working with technology partner Hewlett-Packard to install computer stations within its coffee shops where users can make their own custom music CDs.

In the fall, Starbucks opened Hear Music media bars in 15 stores in Seattle and 30 in Austin, Texas. Each of those stores has three to six stations …
