Two recruits from California are coming to The Pit to watch the Lobos play two teams from Utah.

Derek Oestreicher, a 6-foot-10 junior center, arrives in Albuquerque Saturday for an official recruiting visit, his high school coach said.

Oestreicher is expected to attend the University of New Mexico men's basketball game against Brigham Young on Saturday evening.

Oestreicher plays for Liberty Christian High in Redding, Calif. He is averaging 22.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and seven blocks per game for Liberty Christian, which is 18-5.
